Does support.microsoft.com sound familiar? Or what about kb.goldenplanet.com? These web addresses are ?sub domains?, which are often used to provide more direct and logical entry to a subsection of a website.
When you create a subdomain using Planet Controller, you get what we call a ?true? subdomain ? the new domain name gets its own configuration settings in the web server, so that you don?t have to use programming to achieve the desired functionality. At the same time, search engines, etc. will see it as a genuine, independent website.
Creating a new subdomain is as simple as typing, for example, ?news?, and clicking on the Add button:
