Mail from a FrontPage form page does not get delivered?
It can happen that mails from a FrontPage form doesn’t get delivered, even though everything seems to be in order – it even shows a confirmation of the delivery to the person who filled out the form, and there are no error messages.
To solve the problem you need a legal “Reply to:” in the properties of the form. Right click on the form in FrontPage, choose “Form Properties”, click on the button “Options” and choose the tab “E-mail results”. In the bottom there is a field called “Reply-to-line:” – this is where the forms ‘sending address’ must be, for example “admin@mydomain.com”.
NOTICE! It is very important that this address actually exists on the domain in question – otherwise the mail server will see it as an attempt to spam, and refuse to send the mail.
